Career Overview

  • After graduating from the University of Regina, Ken started his career as a Geneticist’s Assistant performing analysis on swine breeding stock using data to select optimum breeding programs to maximize output. After learning more about the swine industry than he ever knew existed (or wanted to know), he moved on to Crown Life Insurance (who just relocated from Toronto to Regina). Catching the Y2K flu, he went out on his own as an independent consultant and then finally accepted an offer to join Sasktel in a management role.
  • Since relocating to Winnipeg with Paradigm in 2003, he has continued to grow his experience and relationships in Winnipeg. He has been fortunate to have multiple engagements at some of Winnipeg’s larger organizations each with a head office in Winnipeg. He rose to be a significant shareholder of the Winnipeg office of Paradigm and assisted the team that led the acquisition of the Manitoba and Saskatchewan offices by the Toronto firm Smart Employee Benefits AND their subsequent management buy-back in 2019.
  • He is currently the Chief Operating Officer with responsibilities in the Manitoba and Saskatchewan offices.
